Hotline against extremism, terrorism and espionage

The recording shows a call center employee

The mission of the Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (BfV) is to fight extremism, terrorism and espionage and to contribute to making Germany a country in which all people can live together peacefully and safely.

Security and freedom are essential pillars of our society and concern all of us, both citizens and security agencies. It is only with your support that we can fulfil our mission.

Assist us and contact us confidentially if:

  • you know about plans for acts of violence or terrorist attacks,
  • you know individuals involved in such plans,
  • those around you promote terrorism and violence or
  • you notice that people around you become radicalised,
  • you suspect that a foreign intelligence service or a proxy acting on behalf of a foreign intelligence service may have attempted to approach you,
  • you have information on or knowledge of espionage activities. Help us prevent espionage!

The information you provide can be of great importance to us and may save lives.

Our hotline is a tool that helps us to fulfill our tasks as a domestic intelligence service. Please do not misuse it to denounce fellow citizens.
